Circles to celebrate the seasons and sacred menarche

Sitting in circle is in our ancestral lineage, it has been a natural and intuitive way for women to hold space for their communities for thousands of years. It is a phenomena of modern times that this heartfelt practice has stilled. But times are changing, and our ancestors are speaking - the circle of women must return.

I hold Sabbat circles for women throughout the year, to celebrate the turning of the seasons. During each circle we re-member the significance of the season, share ancient celebratory rituals together, and reclaim our right to be in circle connected to this beautiful mama earth.

I also hold regular menarche circles for mothers and their daughters aged from 10 to 12 years. If you have a group of friends or school group, I would love to create a menarche circle to celebrate becoming a woman with you and your sisterhood. As a Steiner teacher and Shamanic Womancraft practitioner, my circles are gentle, seasonal, open hearted and rich with earth wisdom.

Sit together with like-minded sisters in sacred circle at the Red Yurt:

Join me at the Red Yurt, Cooran, to celebrate Beltane in shamanic circle on sacred earth. This circle is a space for women to reconnect to themselves and others in healed sisterhood, and to develop an understanding of the ancient feminine ways in which we honoured the great mother.

CIRCLES FAQ’s

Just your beautiful self, a comfy cushion or yoga bolster if you wish, and a bottle of water. Depending on the season, I will let you know if anything additional is required or optional.

What do I need to bring?

This is a held, non-judgemental, sacred space where all women are welcome. You are welcome as you are, and I will guide all women through our gathering.

I have never attended a women’s circle before. Is that ok?

Generally circles are held inside the red yurt, however depending on the season and celebration, some circles may take place outside or outside at times.
